What is Box of Shadows?

Box of Shadows is the only monthly metaphysical subscription service to affordably deliver your most basic worship needs straight to your doorstep every month. No more searching for the perfect candles, incense, herbs, or smoke cleanser. Everything you need for a small ritual is right in this box! With three box tiers to choose from, you are guaranteed to find the perfect fit for both your budget and practice!

What is your shipping schedule? When will I receive my box?

 Ordering period opens on the 15th of each month and closes on the 4th of the next month. Unless we sell out early. (We often do!) The boxes begin the processing and shipping phase on the 1st of the month with all boxes being shipped by the 10th.

All boxes ship USPS Priority Mail and typically reach their destinations within 3 business days; up to a week for international customers. Circle Members will receive a shipping confirmation along with a tracking number by e-mail once their box  ships.

How much is shipping? Do you ship internationally?

Our boxes ship USPS Priority Mail. Price is dependent on location. Shipping is automatically calculated by USPS at checkout.

YES, we ship internationally! International shipping comes with a flat fee of $25. We ask that international customers be patient with us. Boxes may take up to a week or more to reach their destinations. Subscriptions may renew before previous month boxes reach their destinations. All customs charges and duties are the responsibility of the customer.

UK Subscribers:
If you are receiving a parcel from a country outside the EU, it may incur Customs charges. Any parcel assessed as being liable for Customs charges will also incur a Royal Mail handling fee of £8. Any goods imported into the UK over the value of £15 are liable to import VAT. Customs charges are the responsibility of the customer. Click here for more information. 

How do I cancel my subscription? 

We hate to see you go! However, unsubscribing is quick and easy. Just log in, click "My Account" in the drop down box, click "EDIT" under "My Subscriptions", then click "Cancel Subscription". You can put your subscription on hold here as well. In order to avoid being charged for your next renewal, you must cancel or put your subscription on hold BEFORE the renewal date.  Cancellations on or after renewal DO NOT automatically initiate refunds. Subscribers are responsible for keeping track of subscriptions and renewal dates.

What is your refund policy?

All sales are final. All subscription payments, shipping, and handling costs are non-refundable. Cancellations on or after the renewal date DO NOT automatically initiate refunds. Requests for refunds must be made within 24 hours of subscription renewal or purchase. Subscribers are responsible for keeping track of subscriptions and renewal dates. 

What if an item arrives broken?

Sometimes the postal system is hard on the things we hold most sacred. If any item in your box arrives broken or damaged, please let us know ASAP so that we can replace it in a timely manner.

My box is missing an item. What do I do? 

Sometimes our packing gnomes make mistakes. We apologize. Contact us ASAP so that we can rectify the situation.
